Terms of sale and use

These are the terms between you and the publisher of High Treason 2 ("we"). Questions: support@hightreason2.com.

What you're buying

A personal licence to download and play High Treason 2 on computers you use, with the updates we release for it. It's one payment. The licence is yours for as long as the game is offered; it isn't a transfer of ownership of the game or its contents, and it's for you alone: one account, one player.

Your account

You need an account to buy and to play. Keep your password and your recovery code to yourself: whoever has them has your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.

An online game

High Treason 2 is played online, on our servers. It needs an internet connection, and it can't be played when the servers are down or once they are retired. We'll keep them running for as long as we reasonably can, and will say so here well before any end of service.

Fair play

Don't cheat, don't tamper with the game or its servers, don't share or resell your account, and don't use the game to harass anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that do. Play is checked for cheating on our servers.

Payments and refunds

Payments are taken by Stripe. The price is shown before you pay. Refunds are described on the refunds page. A refund or a reversed payment ends the licence.

The game as it is

We work to keep the game running well, but it's provided as it is: we don't promise it will be free of faults or interruptions. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you as a consumer that can't be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page before the change takes effect.
