On the farm you walk, run and turn exactly as you do in an enclave, and your footsteps are the same quiet ones.
The helicopter that sets you down in an enclave takes its time: down, a breath on the ground, you out at a jog, then away. It used to be over in five seconds.
The first time you play, the whole opening: how it came to this, the war as it stands tonight, and the flight down onto your farm.
The war table is turned to lie under its map, which hung over both edges.
The shaded box over the top left of the farm's screen is gone.
Other players in a match move the way you do.
UPDATE 0.7.881
Cloth is cloth
Coats, hoods, masks and everything else you wear are shaded as fabric: a weave you can see up close, with knit, twill and leather each their own. Nothing looks like moulded plastic any more, and nothing is flat paint either.
UPDATE 0.7.880
Where you chose, and back where you were
Deploying takes you to the enclave you marked. Whatever you chose, it used to be Carlisle.
If your connection drops in the middle of a match, the farm offers you the way back into it.
A name is in Latin letters, and can't be a look-alike of someone else's.
THE STORE
High Treason 2 is on sale
The game is sold at hightreason2.com and nowhere else: one payment, then the launcher installs it, keeps it up to date and starts it.
Windows may still call the installer's publisher unknown. Your account page says what to do about that, and gives the file's checksum.
Coming next
A signed installer. So Windows names the publisher and stops warning you about the download.
More to wear. More pieces and whole looks for the wardrobe.
Smoother full streets. More frames and steadier movement when ten of you are in one enclave.
Plans, not promises: what's being worked on now, in no fixed order.
